Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings : The next superhero movie is added in the MCU movies list.
Marvel Update :
"Shang-Chi and the Legend of the
Ten Rings," from Marvel Studios, actors Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, who is
caught into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organisation and must confront
the history he believed he had left behind. Tony Leung plays Wenwu, Awkwafina
plays Shang-companion Chi's Katy, and Michelle Yeoh plays Jiang Nan, with Fala
Chen, Meng'er Zhang, Florian Munteanu, and Ronny Chieng rounding out the cast.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten
Rings is a film based on the Marvel Comics character Shang-Chi. Cretton joined
the project in March 2019, and it has been released as Marvel's first movie
featuring Asian Stars.
This is the 26th film in the Marvel
Cinematic Universe, and it is the fourth film of Phase 4. Despite the fact that
the picture had been in the works for months and a filmmaker had apparently
signed on, Marvel did not publicly announce it until San Diego Comic-Con 2019.
Shang-Chi was supposed to be the third film in Marvel's Phase 4; but, as with many other films last year, the coronavirus crisis forced it to be postponed multiple times, escalating fan expectation. The picture will now be released in theatres on September 3rd, followed by a Disney+ release 45 days later—more than a year beyond its initial release date. Marvel released the first Shang-Chi poster in April before stunning everyone by releasing the first trailer on Liu's 32nd birthday. That trailer shows a worldwide, century-spanning epic with some of the MCU's finest action segments to yet.

Shang-Chi
might well expand the MCU's backstory more than any Phase 4 film, presenting
the history of the Ten Rings, retconning The Mandarin, and maybe reinventing
Marvel heroes like Iron Fist. Those working with the project hope to live up to
the legacy and cultural effect of the main character. Shang-Chi is said to be
inspired by Jackie Chan and Ang Lee's Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, with
Cretton citing Jackie Chan and Ang Lee's Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon as
influences.

seen on screen in almost a decade turn up again in the MCU is a fun thing,”
Feige remarked. “And it's great joy to watch fans recognise and appreciate that
on the trailer.”
