Storyline:
This movie is adapted from an Internet game of the same title. The story is set in the Eastern Han Dynasty. Ambitious king controls the court and the commonalty, and heroes from all over the country begin to rise. Dynasty Warriors is a series of action video games created by Omega Force and Koei. The series is based on the warriors who fight for their kingdoms. These Kingdoms series, based on the Chinese historical text Records of the Three Kingdoms, from which it derives its name in Japanese.
About The Movie :
A variation of the Japanese computer game of the very title that has spread over 24 years
and 15 control center, Roy Chow's Dynasty Warriors was shot in 2017 yet dawdled
through after creation for a very long time because of monetary issues, at last
arriving with a crash at the Chinese film industry, with an online delivery
following not exactly seven days after the fact. Like the computer game, it
follows the epic occasions of Luo Guanzhong's key novel Romance of the Three
Kingdoms while mixing it with dream figures of speech: no legendary animals,
yet close superhuman saints using weapons with extraordinary energy.
Thus the future masters and officers of the Three Kingdoms period: Liu Bei
(Tony Yang), Guan Yu (Han Geng), Zhang Fei (Justin Cheung), and their future
foe Cao (Wang Kai), as they lead the opposition against royal usurper Dong Zhuo
(Lam Suet) and his undefeated general, Lv Bu (Louis Koo).

Dynasty Warriors is a great warrior movie : An endeavor at a difficult exercise between respecting Luo Guanzhong's semi-verifiable epic source novel, and bringing to life the dream activity of the computer games. It isn't without its solid resources: the broad New Zealand vistas (Middle Kingdom or Middle-Earth?), Tse Chungto's dazzling photography, and sumptuous creation plan from Liu Jingping; these are generally givens for Chinese legends, yet to be appreciated in any case. However past these visual qualities, it is a best movie who like to watch chinese based storyline film.

In the official movie trailer tonal music are so irritating when stately history scored by Yusuke Hatano with a Miklos Rozsa's magical moves. This action scene gives way to electric guitar riffs over power clashes
with rudimentary CGI (which some might in all fairness see as a loving
faithfulness to the video games). Hundreds of CGI extras flail in a narrow
range of gestures as one or two of the main characters. Even a more
self-contained scene, in which terrible fighter Hua Xiong single-handedly fight warrior after warrior until he is killed by Guan Hu (one of the most
renowned sequences in the Three Kingdoms tale). Lv Bu's last
battle with the heroic trinity of Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei is a choppy,
unwatchable tangle of CGI.

Louis Koo stands out among the cast with a toweringly captivating
performance that is both little (a few smouldering stares, a few smirks) and
instantly iconic. Wang Kai is fantastic as a swaggering, fresh-faced Cao Cao,
and he has a great connection with Tony Yang as Liu Bei. It's also a
thrill to see Lam Suet in a threatening part. Carina Lau has a stunning appearance as the
Master of the Sword Castle, while Ray Lui doesn't get much to do as Yuan Shao
but looks wonderful doing it.
On the other hand, Justin Cheung as Zhang Fei looks useless with a fake potbelly. Gulnazar as Diao Chan, and Han Geng as the formidable Guan Hu is a head-scratching scene of miscasting.

Roy Chow, like in his recent would-be franchise openers Rise of the Legend and The Great Detective. His two major mistake as a director : derivativeness and franchise desire. If Rise was a po-faced Christopher Nolan origin storey, Detective was a Guy Ritchie Sherlock want tobe, Dynasty Warriors is full of action, thriller and sci-fi scene, just like CGI expert and mythologizing akin to Zack Snyder's Justice League.

And it's so desperate for sequels that it ends up without any clue - not a flaw in and of itself, and
something that's almost unavoidable when adapting a portion of the Three
Kingdoms storey, but it's a risk that won't pay off.
